Psalm 150:1-6 (ESV)
1 Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens!

4 Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe!

Thanksgiving Day has a long-standing tradition among our national holidays. One year after the Plymouth colonists had set foot on and settled in the new land, a celebration of thanksgiving was held to thank God for His sustaining presence and provision during those first difficult months.

8 Oh give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!

In Psalm150, the writer is filled to overflowing with thanksgiving, offering praise to God with every breath and word of the song.

If we are to live in ways that honor the image of Himself that God placed within us.

The character of God became the motivation for continued praise and thanksgiving.
3.The method of our thanks (vv. 3–6)
